Ingredients in this bar: Farm Fresh Goat Milk, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Sodium Hydroxide*, Castor Oil, Avocado Oil, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Fragrance Oil, Ground Sage We use 100% fresh goat milk We make our soap in small batches using the cold process method Bars are 5 ounces at cutting (Allow for slight shrinkage during curing)We get our goat milk right from our small herd of Nigerian Dwarf and Nubian goats. These two goat breeds are known for the high butterfat content of their milk, providing our products with luxurious, ultra-moisturizing properties. Goat milk is also high in vitamin A, and several B vitamins, including riboflavin, niacin, B6, and B12. Vitamin A is extremely important in skin care, aids in curtailing acne, and may also help with eczema.Alpha-hydroxy acids contained in goat milk are believed to have rejuvenating effects on skin cells and the rich butterfat softens and moisturizes. Alpha-hydroxy acids penetrate the top layers of the skin, epidermis and upper dermis, to achieve exfoliation (sloughing of old skin cells). Exfoliation stimulates the skin and healthy cells are regenerated. The effect essentially is "anti-aging." *Sodium Hydroxide is required to react with the oils to produce soap. All Real Soap is made this way. There is no Sodium Hydroxide left when saponification is complete.
